The Australian Masters Championships will be held in conjunction with the Oceania Masters Championships and Commonwealth Masters Championships in Cairns QLD, at the Pullman Cairns International Hotel, on 10th - 12th February 2021.
After eight months and nine competition rounds, Australia finished second in the Oceania League after defeating Fiji in the final match of the tournament.
The Oceania Weightlifting Federation today advised that the OWF Executive Board has decided to postpone the Annual Congress and 2021 Oceania Championships to August 24th to 28th, to be held in Nauru.
This weekend the inaugural AWF Pathway Squad will come together at the Australian Institute of Sport for an intensive training camp.

On 11th December 2020 the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) released the Weightlifting Athlete Allocation System for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
The executive board (EB) of the international Olympic Committee (IOC) has approved the event programme and athlete quotas for the Olympic Games Paris 2024.
Eileen Cikamatana and Kiana Elliott achieved a 1-2 finish in the inaugural OWF Online Cup last weekend.
