On 11th December 2020 the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) released the Weightlifting Athlete Allocation System for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
The executive board (EB) of the international Olympic Committee (IOC) has approved the event programme and athlete quotas for the Olympic Games Paris 2024.
Eileen Cikamatana and Kiana Elliott achieved a 1-2 finish in the inaugural OWF Online Cup last weekend.
Australia triumphed in a close match against New Zealand in Round 6 of the Oceania League last weekend.
The Oceania Weightlifting Federation is holding its next online real-time competition, the 2020 OWF Cup online tournament on 5th and 6th December 2020.
The IWF Online Youth World Cup, the biggest online weightlifting competition ever produced, has begun and over the next few days Australia’s four entrants will connect with their contemporaries around the world and compete in real time from their respective home bases.
