Good Afternoon

The AWF Board of Directors has endorsed the appointment of two Managers to support the Australian Teams at the 2019 Oceania Championships and Commonwealth Championships, being held at Apia, Samoa, in July.

Damon Kelly has been appointed as the Manager of the Senior Team; and Charles Quagliata has been appointed as the Manager of the combined Junior & Youth Team.

These appointments complete the Teams that will represent the AWF in Samoa. The 2019 Oceania Weightlifting Championships and Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships are being held in conjunction with the Samoa 2019 Pacific Games and the AWF Senior Team has been nominated to the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) for consideration in the AOC’s selection of the Australian Team for the Samoa 2019 Pacific Games.
