We’re pleased to advise that yesterday Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk, GOLDOC Chairman Peter Beattie AC, GOLDOC CEO Mark Peters and swimming champion Samantha Riley publicly released details of GC2018 ticket prices at two media events on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane.
We want passionate fans in every seat, so the ticketing program that has been designed is inclusive, accessible and affordable.
The pricing launch gives everyone the opportunity to understand what the costs will be and indeed, how affordable it will be to attend any GC2018 sporting event or ceremony.
Ticketing for a major multi-sport event is an extremely complex process and the details on the attached infographic and price schedule are the result of a consultation process that took in the views of a wide range of stakeholders and community groups.
Spectators will have the opportunity to witness 280 sport sessions and more than 1000 hours of world class sporting competition over the course of the 11 days from April 4-15, 2018.
Tickets will be offered for sale from April 2017 – one year out from the Games – and we genuinely believe the prices will allow everyone to Share the Dream of GC2018.
