In a letter to IWF Member Federations today, the IWF Interim President and the WF General Secretary reported that the IOC has approved the International Weightlifting Federation's revised Qualification System for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The rules were modified in a way to take into consideration those athletes and countries who could not compete at IWF Qualification Events due to COVID-19 restrictions.
