Just four months after the Paris Olympic Games, Eileen Cikamatana turned on a medal-winning performance at the IWF World Championships in Manama, Bahrain. Taking the Snatch Bronze medal with 113kg and winning Silver in the Clean & Jerk with 144kg, her Total of 257kg secured the overall Silver medal in the 87kg category.

Following the Paris Olympics, Eileen and Coach Paul Coffa thought long and hard about the next chapter of their weightlifting story. This latest world-class performance makes it clear that the dynamic duo have their sights firmly set on that exalted podium at the LA 2028 Olympic Games.
