Please refer to the attachment containing the 2016 FISU World University Weightlifting Championships selection criteria.

The 2016 FISU World University Championships will take place in Merida, Mexico during the period 13-17 November, 2016.

Athletes that meet the eligibility requirements to contest the event need to notify Jacquie White, AWF High Performance Coordinator, via email [email protected] no later than Friday 12th August, 2016.

Please note that in line with IWF regulations any athlete contesting the FISU World University Weightlifting Championships will be required to be registered in ADAMS in advance of the event and will also be required to complete paperwork required by Australian University Sport. The estimated cost to participate in this event as a representative of the Australian University Sport Team is approximately $3,550.
