Presented by Leo Isaac, who has a 50 year history as an athlete, coach and coach educator, this Level 2 Coaching Accreditation Course will take you to a higher level of understanding of the coaching principles and training methodolgy that build success in Olympic Weightlifting. Over the two days you will be taken through:
- The science that underpins technical excellence
- Methods for assessing technical competence and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Best practise coaching strategies for developing athlete performance
- Key factors for coaching success at competitions
- Injury prevention and long-term athlete development
This course will clear away the mystique and dogma that surrounds Weightlifting technique and training methodology and you will have an opportunity to raise questions and be involved in class discussions.
Interest in this course is high and interest persons are advised to register as soon as possible as the course is limited to 20 persons. You can register by selecting the "manual payment" option at the payment stage of the registration process and paying a deposit of $300. The remainder can be paid by instalments which must be finalised by 01 November 2024.
